Raza Pet-Nat White, Raza Pet-Nat Rose and Raza Lagares are the three natural wines from Quinta da Raza, which we like because of their concept, as we are returning to an ancestral way of producing our wines. How? By letting the indigenous yeasts carry out the fermentations as they please. In the Raza Pet-Nat (short for ‘Petillant-Naturelle’, which means natural sparkling wine), fermentation ends in the bottle. Capturing all the pleasant natural gas; in the Raza Lagares, fermentation takes place in centuries-old granite lagares with foot treading.
